Amber Leaf Creative is the freelance home of web designer Lisa Paitz Spindler. I've worked in graphic design for 10 years with 8 of those years specializing in web site design.
This is where I'm supposed to talk about my design philosophy, right? Well, here goes it. I want to make the Web better. I want to create clean, beautiful, easy-to-use web sites. I create sites that separate design from content so that information can be repurposed for multiple media — because a browser isn't the only way people access the Web. I want to help companies large and small present a unified branding strategy to the marketplace so that no matter where their customers find them, their message is reinforced and crafted especially for the medium of choice.
The Web has closed the gap between people and the information they need, but if that information is disorganized the message is lost in the static. It's my job to filter out the static, to help you fine tune your message for the Web so you can be heard loud and clear.
I dream in Photoshop layers, XHTML, CSS and PHP includes, and in my downtime I write science fiction. I hope you like the sites your see here, and if you'd like one of your very own, please contact me. I can help.
